Boy, I saw something today and I'm just not sure how I feel about it. It was a video from the PETA website as part of a Wetseal article. For the amount of the video I watch was basically a man swinging a racoon looking animal by the hind legs against the ground knocking it out. The next scene is this animal strung up by the legs having its fur peeled from it's still live body. The next scene has the still alive skinless creature slowly wrything in pain as it slowly dies. The next scene showed a dog in a cage...I killed the video at that point. Now I'm by no means one of these animal rights psychos. In fact I've always felt that as far as farmed animals go I have no remorse. These creatures would either not exsist if not for farming or they have been specifically bred for the final result. Granted this was mostly concerning food based animals. Fur always seemed to fit on the fringe of that thought pattern. But that video just left me feeling empty. Just don't know how to feel. I fully realize that there are many things that happen in this world that most of us take for granted, but they happen so we can have the life we each live. Slaughterhouses for instance. The average person doesn't want to visit one but they like beef and leather.

Just not sure how to feel on this subject...

Booted up Bryce 5 again today for the first time in about 2 years. Spent a few hours off and on trying to work out an idea or two, but nothing came. Wish I had the motivation to use this like I used to. I figured out how to animate fairly quickly and also found that htere is typically quite a lot of thought needs to go into an animation...

I plan on getting into the forge again this weekend and hope to have something new to show for it.
